- St. Francis, WI – 9,500 sf
This ground-up, 26-foot-high self-storage building in the city of St. Francis features approximately 100 interior storage units. Challenges in the building of this facility included the necessity of getting through eight feet of organic soils, with helical piers being utilized to prevent the necessity of digging deeper foundations. Additionally, the project was just 11 feet from a railroad track, requiring special permitting and the use of flagmen at all times.
